Dr. Tal Raine received his undergraduate degree in Biochemistry from Northwestern University and completed his MD at the Medical College of Wisconsin (Marquette University) in Milwaukee. He received an undergraduate scholarship from the International College of Surgeons to study transplant and general surgery in Cambridge, England. Dr. Raine continued his training in Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery at Emory University in Atlanta, Georgia. While there, he studied with some of the accepted leaders in the fields of Reconstructive and Aesthetic Surgery.
During his 25+ years of practice, Dr. Raine has performed over 7000 cosmetic and reconstructive surgeries. He specializes in cosmetic surgery including body contouring (liposuction), breast augmentation, upper and lower eyelid surgery and abdominoplasty.
As the author of four book chapters and numerous articles on various topics in Plastic Surgery he has lectured nationally and internationally. Dr. Raine volunteers his time and resources each year to travel with RaineDrops World Wide to third world countries. He is the past president of the Chicago Society of Plastic Surgeons and currently serves on the Board of Directors of the Illinois Society of Plastic Surgery and the DuPage County Medical Society. He also serves as a national faculty member for Botox® Cosmetic and is on several other medical advisory boards.
Dr. Raine is board certified in Plastic Surgery and is a member of the American Medical Association, the American Society of Plastic Surgeons, the Plastic Surgery Educational Foundation, the Midwest Association of Plastic Surgeons, the Chicago Society of Plastic Surgeons and the American Society for Aesthetic Plastic Surgery.
